ABOUT OUR KENNEL INGRIJA LAND GUARD
The history of our kennel began in 1988, when one of current owners of kennel "Ingrija Land Guard" Valentina Anisimova in one of Moscow dog kennels ("The Leader") after a long term of education of the peculiarities of this breed. In that time the breeding was not connected with the current name of our kennel, the dogs were born by her audit had other "family names" - "Prauds" and "Arktic Sun". In 1995 year "The Leader" Kennel had the quantity about 85 bitches of rather a good quality, well known in Moscow at that period. In 1995 year Valentina leaved Moscow and removed to St-Petersburg with her three dogs. From 1995 till 2000 the breeding of V.Anisimova was known under the name "Baltic Tops". In 1998 Valentina Anisimova met Liudmila Vedeneeva, and in 2000 year we decided to unit our big love to the chow-chow breed and knowledge of kinology (V.Anisimova has kinologic education) and knowledge of biology (L.Vedeneeva has PhD degree in physiology of humans and animals). So, in this year (2000) the kennel "INGRIJA LAND GUARD" was officially registered in Russian Kinological Federation (member of FCI).One of the peculiarities of our kennel is the organization. Our kennel is not the territory with the cells, but it is the unit of the owners of chow-chows born in our kennel. All the dogs have their own home and family, and we being the heads of the kennel do our best to unite people in their love to chow-chow, help the owners to grow up their puppies healthy and happy, to find the understanding with their dogs and to bring up well-breed and good socialized chow. We try to give the owners understanding of the art of grooming and handling and organize show activity (internal kennel exhibitions and participation in the big dog shows (CAC and CACIB). To raise the foundation stock of chow-chows in our region to a higher level, fastening the powerful, strong, well-boned and well-height type of the harmonic and healthy dogs with inherent in chows steady character is the main for us. We base our work on the knowledge of the history of breeding lines, genetic, physiology and etology of our lovely breed. Our dogs have the blood of their high titled ancestor from Canada, USA, Holland, England, Czechoslovakia and Russia. The wide genetic set permits us to receive interesting results, carefully taking into account all genetic and phenotypic peculiarities of every pair.
Our main principle - worthy dogs for worthy men . Though our dogs successfully participate in dog shows, they recognizable and have estimable titles and champion callings, we not rush to breed the dogs only for show. We really want that every puppy find his loving and beloved owner and both - man and dog - would happy in every day communication with wonderful and mysterious chow-chows, who maintain the purity of eastern wisdom .
